We’re a crew of developers, designers, founders, and dreamers who share two obsessions: technology and the sea. By day we ship code, by night (or whenever the wind allows) we ship actual sails.

Sailors in Tech started in Finland with a simple idea: bring together people who love building digital products and also love catching the wind. We believe the best ideas don’t always come from behind a screen — sometimes they show up on deck, halfway between Suomenlinna and the horizon.

This is not a club with strict rules or fancy uniforms. It’s a community. We host meetups, share stories, swap skills, and organize sailing trips where tech talk and sea talk naturally mix. Whether you’re a junior dev curious about your first regatta or a seasoned CTO who can trim a jib in your sleep, you’ll find your place here.
